Last of the pre-cut blanks that came off the shelf whilst restacking to find room to store some logged and slabbed Ash.

Cherry, 164mm diam. usual CSS, buffed and MC wax.

Another fine looking piece ... I'm working on an 8" by about 6" deep Cherry bowl in my shop.... finished the turning the other day, sanded and buffed with my version of Yorkshire grit... Mineral oil, beeswax and diatomaceous earth.... it's looking good, but still need to remove my tenon on the bottom.... probably will next time I'm in the shop and can set up my vacuum chuck...had to take the dog to the vet today, so lost most of this day. ... grocery shopping tomorrow, so may be Saturday before I finish it.

I'm liking the adjacent micro bead trend you've got going on here.

And that small base bead kind of takes "floating off of the base" to the next level and leaves a very nice reveal shadow.. I may well have to steal that idea.
