Nice bowl for sure. A question if I may: Do you find pecan wood at lumber stores there in US.? or it is usually coming from felled trees in roads or neighbours gardens or similar.?

Toni, all of my pecan comes from local trees. Storm damage, etc.. Sometimes getting pecan is hard to do. It's usually a very tough tree to damage except small limbs. A friend of mine has 6 very large pecan trees that average 5' trunk diameter. They are near a fence line and a road and power line. Once in a while they have to be trimmed back so they don't damage the power lines. He has it done by a tree service instead of the power company doing it so the trees don't get butchered up. So, I get the wood. It's a win win for me. Free wood, except the labor.
