Just in case, this different angle of the pic explains better my title, "Antiplanxa" as I said in the description. As per beating nailing a banana to the wal I think it does beat that video of a guy who piles up a few buckets filled with sand, and makes a hole on the bottom one so that the sand exits through it and eventually unbalances the whole column and they fall, and the most surprising thing is that people that are watching it applaude! I've tried to find it to upload it but I didn't find it, but I'm sure any of you have seen it.That is quite imaginative. If you haven't named it yet may I recommend "Sailing".
It sure beats nailing a banana to the wall.

I can't believe that my twisted mind has never thought of the idea of an anti-iron to put wrinkles into clothes. The comment about the banana on the wall was in no way meant to disparage Toni's art. His art is beautiful and thought provoking and highly creative.Toni, bravo!!! Another home run of a piece of work!! I will echo Vaughn's comment as he says it so fluently. I don't understand the banana on the wall remark (no offense intended) but if you carved it, I would hang it on my wall!!!
Thanks for the second picture, questions still remain, is the iron real or carved (I am betting carved). Is the iron attached to the piece (or was this all one piece and you eliminated the rest?). I love your work (and knowing I know you personally!). I will have to show this to CJ, he has your artwork from the cafe framed and hanging on his bedroom wall.

The wood is basswood, I joined two scraps I had that were not suitable to make thicker pieces, the iron is a true old iron that my gran-gran mother used to iron clothing. Finally I painted it white to resemble a bed sheet. What wood(s) did you use? And is the iron carved as well?
Hi Mike. I never took it as such, on the contrary. As matter of fact I wish I could sell mine for only half of that price. The comment about the banana on the wall was in no way meant to disparage Toni's art. His art is beautiful and thought provoking and highly creative.
. What I wonder is what happened to the banana after a few days, I guess that then it would be called "decaying art"
.That changes everything. 1st I saw a paddle creating ripples on the water. I didn't pay attention . Nice illusion.Just in case, this different angle of the pic explains better my title, "Antiplanxa" as I said in the description.
