I just saw a BBC article about some serious weather over the next couple of days with temperatures as low as -40!?
Jonathan, you better bring in another armload or two of that firewood.

It's a nice warm 12F here right now with maybe a foot of snow on the ground. Very little wind and the sun is shining! Perfect for a short hike!

Brought in 3 trailer loads yesterday, cut and split and we stacked them in the woodshed. It was 22°F yesterday but a very strong wind making it quite chilly.

I told Shelly we should rent the house out for the winter months , short term and move to AZ for the winter. She replied; I would rather move south.
I'm warring her down.

We have not had more than an inch or two of snow in the last 3 years or so. I bought a brand new Areins snowblower a few years ago and it has never been put to the test.

I hear that, Dave. I am leaving Sunday morning, for Texas. At some point, probably in February, I will be in Arizona.
Great weather there, that time of year.
