That's a pretty sweet deal on a great lathe. I'd buy it, but don't think I have the room for the lathe, let alone the tree trunks you'd need to put on it.

Nope, that's an unretouched photo I took at the recycling station behind my local Albertson's supermarket. The kid (er...young man) unloading the aluminum cans looked like the son of one of the typical rich Eastern European (likely Armenian or Russian) immigrants we have around this part of LA. I've seen similar-looking kids driving Maseratis and Lamborghinis in this same neighborhood. The Russian Mafia has a presence in these parts.
