Cigarette smoke removal

I don't smoke or chew and neither does LOML.. but we've started growing some tobacco anyway just because it seems like a good idea hah (I actually like the flowers.. so there's that).

One of the things the doctor told Granddaddy was that he should stop smoking

People are so ridiculous... When my grandpa was dying of cancer my aunt used to give him a ton of grief over having a few chocolates because of his diabetes.. The rest of us were all pretty much of the opinion that he might as well enjoy a few small pleasures at that point and a candy bar wasn't going to be the terminal problem.

Have thought about it myself. I like the smell of a pipe mostly, but probably wouldn’t smoke one.

I smoked 1 to 2 packs a day from the age of 15 to 55 and I'll be paying the price for the rest of my life. Stupidest thing I ever did. :rolleyes. When I quit cigs I used a nicotine vape for a couple of years, and then switched to nicotine gum. This year I've cut that back a lot, but haven't quit completely.

As Vaughn, started smoking at 15. As I grew older tried to quit but no dice. Then at 36 got the flu real bad, hard to breathe etc. Laid there and no longer wanted a smoke. Just quit cold turkey.. That induced my wife to quit also. Best decision of our life. The saving in smokes kept our daughter in Pampers. Still had the urge, but did not back slide. Especially bad on llooong trips across the deserts of New Mexico.
