I mentioned on the Friday thread that the adjustable height table I ordered arrived this morning. Over lunch I removed the bottom support from the center and moved it to the rear, to allow for more storage under the bench.

My job site cart for the CMS doesn't allow for much storage under it, nor is there a good way to capture dust/chips that fly behind the saw.

My plan is to build a dust hood that I can mount my CMS on, using some quick attach bars I welded up at my last place that work with the lock system of the portable stand. I'll build a hood on the rear portion with dust collection ports built in. The dust hood will just be clamped to the table top so that I can easily take it off if need be.

I'm locating the CMS at the end of my cnc, which is has plenty of room to the left and right for longer stock to be cut. It's also across from the DC, where I'll pipe a new trunk over for tools at this side of the shop, such as my surface sander, bandsaw, lathe, and such.
