I started travelling from Utah to Miami for work back in late October. (From door to door it's 12 hours each way. :() I've flown out 8 times so far, but actually spent 10 weeks there.

Almost miraculously, I've been working from home now for a solid month ... but that's coming to an end in a couple hours when I take my next Uber ride to the airport.

Anyway, I've been wanting to turn some gifts for a few of the gals I work with out there. With the usual day-and-a half at home each week that idea has been a non-starter. But with a month at home I had better success. Here's hoping they like their gifts!

From left to right:
  • A weed pot made from flowering plum
  • A mini platter made from cotton-less cottonwood
  • A refrigerator magnet made from granadillo
The mini platter has a little finish on it; the others don't.

Those look great Kerry! I spent one summer commuting every week. IT doesn't leave a lot of time for getting things done at home for sure. Glad you got to make some stuff and have fun!
