Dovetail Jig of CNC

I classified this as Jigs and Fixtures because it is my new Dovetail Jig upgrade to my CNC machine that I build a few years ago. I put together a rough quick video for the Vectric forum and I thought I would share it here as well.

You are fortunate your CNC top has a removable section to allow for the vertical clamping within the machine movement area. Nice idea and great job.

I had to make that opening. The machine originally did not have that.

Nice set up, Leo. It looks like your fixture is wide enough to dovetail something like a dresser carcass. Whats the max vertical height it can do?

I can do Dovetails to the top of the machine bed - about 38" from floor to machine bed. However, from floor to the highest machinable surface is about 45", but not for dovetails.

I still have a nice non-cnc Porter Cable dovetail jig, that I could use anywhere so the limit on length is none.

Very nice, Leo. I'd like to see how you created the opening in the table. I've given it some thought but that's as far as I've gone.
