Hi guys.
I've been trying to play some of the videos that other member posted, and for some reason unknown to I get an error message telling me that I need to initiate a session. Initiate a session where? I am already logged in, and I can play youtube videos without a problem because I have a youtube session initiated. Any of the IT gurus has a hint? I attach the screenshot of the message to clarify.

I've not seen that before Toni, but youtube will block videos from other countries when it think it might violate a "local" (to Spain) law or regulation. It could be related to that.

When you visit youtube do you normally go to youtube.com or does the URL come up with a more regional specific link to you? Sometimes for Canada the URL's have a country identifier in the URL like youtube.ca. So does yours come up to youtube.es?

If so, many of our members post youtube URLs to youtube.com not youtube.es and it may be wanting you to authenticate to the youtube.com server.

Thanks Darren, I've checked what you mention and no, when I enter in youtube, it is youtube.com, funny enough the message appears when I try to play tutorial videos from the Vectric web, even funnier if I look for those videos on youtube. It seems to me that the problem arises when trying to play them from within the forum, or within the vectric web page.:dunno:

Ok, so some other things to try…

Does it happen if you use a different web browser?

Do you have any plug ins installed that may be causing it? Can either try viewing the pages in an incognito window or temporarily turning off the plug in to see if it happens.

I’ll look at the script that embeds the video, but I think it only adds video tags around the url, it doesn’t change it.
