Finally back on the fabric hutch! Here is the final dry assembly of the top section, minus the corbels.


Broke it down and 2 coats of stain on bottoms of the shelves and back of the back. Tomorrow is flip and repeat

Started final assembly, will take the corbels off (screwed on) to stain the sides and front trim. Then re-install corbels attach top then poly, install back and should be done this weekend, yea!!!

Well, it’s done! Had family over yesterday for a birthday party, do I took advantage of having young healthy backs and had them carry the top up from the shop. Today I put felt on the bottom and had Joy help me putting the top on the base, attached using 5” x 1” flat brackets and it’s ready for her to fill, YEA!!! Now on to the next project of new doors in the hallway and trimming those and all opening’s in the living room, plus a little personal side project
