Firewood Shed

In preparation for bigger things (garden shed and eventual new workshop) my son and I decided we needed to polish up our chops, and built a lean to firewood shed today. Nothing fancy but fun working together with our framing nailers and hand tools. Got to try out my new Dewalt chop saw stand.

Other reasons included we had some OSB and 2x’s laying around, plus the current loose wood pile is sitting right where the south end of my new workshop will be. So needed a place to stack the wood.

My new shop will have a wood stove and I can see a nice half cord of good smelling piñon filling up the firewood shed this fall.

Best to all

Jon

Looks great, Jon. :thumb:

I suspect there's not a lot of folks here who truly appreciate the aroma of a nice piñon fire in the fireplace on a cold winter day. That smell reminds me of Christmas more than just about anything else. :santa:
