I'm kind of disappointed. These are the first loaves out of my new mixer. They smell great and should taste the same, but I think I went a little heavy on the yeast. This is Honey Oat bread. I need to move the oven rack down a notch too.
when I was in high school I worked in a kitchen and one thing the baker taught me was baking is an exact science. When you are cooking you can work from taste and adjust throw in a dash here and a dash there but baking you must use exact measurement and follow proven recipes.. Non the less those look excellent. Wish I had smella vision.
