It's been real windy here lately, so that has severely limited my outdoor activities for much of this week. (Too much pollen and dust in the air, which makes me cough my lungs out.) The weather looks much better today, so I need to get busy.

I've got a new battery to put in the pickup and a pile of brush to load into it to take to the dump.
I've been refurbishing an old Handyman/Hi-Lift jack, and I have most of the hardened concrete and old grease removed. (There are a few tiny bits of concrete I can't get to easily.) I'll get the galvanized parts masked up and start getting some paint on the rest of it this weekend.
I've been trying to get a fence company to give me a quote on a short (28') run of chain link fence we want to get installed in the back yard to keep the dog out of the area where SWMBO has her bird feeders. I'm planning to call some other companies today and see if I can get someone to do the work. I currently have a real janky barrier set up with chicken wire, and we want to get something in its place that looks a bit more presentable.
Finally joined the Blackstone griddle club a few days ago. (I got the simple 28" 2-burner model.) Got it all seasoned and broken in a couple of nights ago. The natural gas conversion kit for it came in yesterday, so I'll be installing that before cooking fajitas tonight. My Weber grill runs on natural gas so I want the Blackstone to do the same.
I'll be recording and watching the ARCA race in Talladega this weekend. Gotta see how my boy Cleetus McFarland and his sidekick Squirrel McNutt do. (Cleetus and Squirrel are the real-life versions of Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton Jr. from the movie Talladega Nights.) Shake and Bake, baby!

I'll also be watching the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. I've got to see if the recent regulation changes fix the problems F1 has been experiencing so far this season.
About the only shirts I wear in public have sayings on them. None of them are offensive, but I get a lot of comments on them.
