Games for the family reunion

The reunion will be here shortly so threw these together as the prizes for the winner of the corn hole tournament we have each year. Made from 2x material from the big box store and some baltic birch ply for the carrying box. All 54 blocks are jointed, planed and chamferred on all edges. Stands about 30.5" tall when on the box. Should be fun to play.

Thanks for looking. Made four games in total ... 216 blocks, 4 carrying boxes.

Nicely done!

I have thought many times that I should make such a set. I was always worried about the weight - both in the transportation (can one person manage it alone) and in the ultimate falling of those pieces on the players. This has led me to think basswood might be a good choice for the game.

How heavy is the full box?

Rennie, obviously there will be some variation in weight due to density differences in the wood. The one set I put on the scale came in at 55.3 #'s. Pretty easy to carry with the handles that are glued and screwed to the carrying box. As for the toes, no guarantees on that one. Thanks for asking.
