Man, that's quite an event. Is that a permanent facility just for RenFestivals? I'm used to seeing more of a "tents in the park" thing than permanent buildings.

As a connoisseur of turkey legs let me say, a roasted turkey leg does a body good.

For those interested I have a crock pot turkey leg soup that is to die for.....It does a body good as well.

yea they got a permanet setup out here to. They have it in the spring when we have all the winter visitors and you guys up north are up to your....er..a .....knees in snow

We had a permanent set up in Magnolia, TX, a ways north of Houston... was a pretty big affair.... only went up a couple of times....

We also have one up near Harriman, TN that sends me an invite to exhibit every year... haven't been yet...

We took our kids to the renaissance festival in Sterling New York a few years back. They enjoyed it. Saw jousting, caber toss, some dumb theatre plays, spent money. What fun

Don't remember much from my trip to the Ren Fair, but was over 25 years ago.... I do remember the glass blowing booth though... that was very interesting.

You can definitely spend money there.

Well, looks like someone enjoyed themselves. I went to one once. Wasn't as exciting to me as it was to others. But that's OK. Not all things are for everybody.
