Got the last section of decking installed, I still have to add the last boards against the building, I picked up extra metal strip to do that the other day.


The stairs and railing are temporary, I still need to pour some piers for the landing, but I cut the picture frame trim with the 45* angles already and will use the plunge saw to cut out for the railing posts when that time comes.

The last boards got installed tonight.


The lighter one is off the bottom of the pile, but is the same as the others, can see some of the same color in the boards in the front. They need a good power washing from sitting the last 6 months.

Still think you could have saved yourself a lot of work by going Tennessee style.... just park an old camp trailer out back and call it a guest room.
