Looking forward to my son and daughter in law over ... they said they would cook, but put a rack of ribs in the oven anyway. We were supposed to have Thanksgiving in their new house but it's not finished yet, maybe by Christmas.

Doing ribs because I'm not a fan of turkey... haven't been since that old tom flogged me when I was 3 years old.... 80 years maybe a long time to hold a grudge, but he brought on himself.

We went to my son in laws family one of his brothers
My wooden reindeer and Xmas trees all were scooped up quickly
Then we went to my wife's sister for a second dessert
We aren't stupid we didn't have to clean up
I'm the fat guy on the far right with the gold shirt
It sucks when you are the oldest person at family gatherings

not the same anymore since all the kids grew up got married and have kids and other families now. we cant all fit in one group, so each year now we have to break up the family and go to a gathering with extended family. the only one who has a large enough area in their home to host alot of people would be my son, but his wife has the flu and I dont think she had the time to cook for so many, so we all go to whereever and then the same for the xmas hannukah time of year......my daughter will host and we will go to other family members during xmas week until new years. families grow quickly, but our houses remain same size
