Hey there! I’m Jim Smith, a 55-year-old cabinet maker from the beautiful city of Auckland, New Zealand. I’ve been working with wood for over three decades, crafting everything from kitchen cabinets to wardrobes and shelves, always aiming for that sweet spot between style and strength. Woodworking isn’t just my job—it’s my passion, especially when I get to use sustainable, eco-friendly materials. When I’m not in the workshop, I’m out exploring the stunning landscapes New Zealand has to offer. And yes, I’ve managed to keep all ten fingers so far!
