How to mark posts as read?

Beign away has this problems, I come back and everything has changed, so how do I mark forums as read? I do not see it anywhere.

toni after you have read them they appear as gray rather than bold black

In the upper right part of each forum, you'll see a check box and a Mark read button.



Click the check box and then click Select all in the box that pops up at the bottom of your browser window.



Then just click Mark read and you're done.

that works vaughn but if you havnt read all of them the gray type signifies the ones you read.

The first time someone comes into the forum with the new software, it shows all of the posts as unread. (Or at least it did for me.) Instead of clicking on every single post to "read" it, marking them all as Read is faster. And yes, the gray font shows the read posts.

Another way is when you're wanting to leave the forum, click the down arrow in the "Forums" box in the upper left hand corner. You'll get a drop down menu and at the bottom of it click on "Mark Forums Read".
