They are lined up inside also. Saw a wooden barn carried across a field and turned 1/4 turn. Also saw a school house (theirs are smaller, more than one room though) moved to the next road, 1 mile.
They had covered a move like this on one of the Mysteries at the Museum shows a while back. It was an older/heavier timber frame barn with wood siding. They moved it 10', but basically did a framework for enough people that it was only about 50lbs for each person to lift and carry. They only moved the barn a few feet up hill to get it out of an area that flooded often.
