How to post videos?

I pretend to make a video of my next project and I have a doubt: Is it absolutely necessary to have and url to post a video? Can’t it just be uploaded like we do with pictures?

Don is right...we don't currently have a way to directly upload a video to the forum, so you'll need to post it on another platform like YouTube or Vimeo and then post a list to the video here.

Let me know if you can’t get it to work with either YouTube or Vimeo and we’ll figure out something. I know you’ve had some issues with YouTube prior due the locality issues.

Thanks Darren, I will but first I have to edit the video which is taking me more than I thought as I have to learn to do it at the same time that I am editing it.

No, I am starting to learn editing using Winchamp, to be honest I do not know what I should use, which one would you recommend me?
I think you mean Clipchamp, but it looks pretty straightforward and easy to learn. I use DaVinci Resolve, which is also free for personal use, but if you're new to video editing the learning curve might be a bit steeper. Resolve has pro-level features, but with that comes pro-level complication. Fortunately, there are a lot of instructional videos for Resolve on YouTube.

I don’t really have any to recommend. I have used Filmora in the past for windows, but I think it may be a subscription based software model now. I’ve been using Apple’s iMovie app for basic editing.

For recording on screen content I use OBS Studio (free).

I've been using CyberLink PowerDirector for years; it works fine (not free), and I'm not really interested in learning yet another new software LOL.
I know there may be better platforms, but this one works for me.
