I love laser.
Last weekend I saw a Maple box my friend made. He hand woodburned "tree of life" into the top. How easy is it to spoil a beautiful maple box with a slip of the hand!!
It was beautiful. Right next to that I placed my machine cut laser engraved box.
Absolutely NO comparison. Totally different in almost way.
I was not embarased by my dinky machine made box.
Nope - it is just what I made and what he made.
Truth is - they are NOT the same thing - they are different - yes - but each had it's plusses and minuses as we talked about it.
Anyway ----------
I want to try some day
Create a hand drawn tree of life.
I may even talk to my friend and maybe even use his - maybe.
Scan that hand drawn (carved) into Lightburn and create a laser program and engrave it into maple, same as his box, and compare the differences

well I can see this is a whole new world of consumer spending. The more I read on forums the more I see stuff that I may need down stream.
