I'm thinking you could somehow expand it to having four feet that intersect.

I'm kind of reminded of some of the geometry problems in stereotomy...

If it was done in the style of a Josef Hoffmann it would likely have wooden balls for feet.

I would say it's a rocking chair but then a rolling chair. Either way rocking or rolling along.
