Knife #9- Recurve slicer

I kept seeing a knife similar to this one for sale in my Facebook feed so I decided to try and make one. This design works pretty well. I used it to cut up and slice a baked chicken and it worked well. Works pretty well for slicing and dicing veggies also.

About 9 3/4" long and handled in zebrawood.

Don, you haven't seen the real cutup....the one that cut 3 fingers and my thumb.

The truth is I am borrowing most of these designs. I have seen a knife like the one I am making and all I have done is draw that knife up, make a template and trace around the template onto the steel. Then it is just a matter of cutting it out, smoothing the cut edges to the lines and heat treating/tempering.

Truth be told I am not very creative.....I am more of a monkey see monkey do kind of person.
