Just finished these today... all are finished with my version of Yorkshire grit, Old Masters sanding sealer and wipe on poly....
This is a piece of Poplar that i bought at my local wood supplier's warehouse... the block was 40 x 10 x 4 inches... I cut it into 4 blocks and actually got 8 bowls from it by coring the bigger bowls with my wood cut bowl saver.
This is the baby bowl from the mama bowl above...the big bowl is 9 x 3 1/2... the little bowl is 7 x 2 inches....
Then a Paulownia bowl, 7 1/2 x 2 1/2"... same finish
Plus the cherry bowl from previous post...
also for you sharp eyed critics, I mis-number the paulownia bowl with the same number as the big poplar bowl.... I number all my bowls in sequence and use the number on ETSY as my SKU number... the paulownia bowl should have been numbered 4183, but not paying attention I picked up the other number... it will be confusing on ETSY, but not the first time.... gotta pay closer attention to my log keeping. The number 10 is a category number meaning bowl...
