Lathe leveling

I came across this video the other day. I hadn't really thought about a lathe having a twist in it, but thought it might be of interest to some of you turners...

Smart way to get the twist out if you don't have a fancy level and probably a lot more accurate than a lot of fancy levels

Generally small amounts of twist are (imho) more concerning to those folks with metal lathes than wood lathes, but it can still be a problem if there's very much.

I figured so too, but thought it was an interesting method.

Oh definitely. There are a ton of really cool tricks you can do with a plumb bob. If I could remember any of them they'd be even cooler!
