That is a fantastic looking table, nice work.

I know you probably don't need to worry about it with your clients, but I'm guessing you have to be careful not to produce pieces that may complete an antique "set", which a client may try to pass off as original?

Do you mark your work in some way?

Just thinking of all the antique/collectable firearms out there. Seems like I'm always seeing posts, asking if a gun is an original Luger or whatever, as someone has forged the markings and trying to pass them off as such, at a much, much higher price.

Either way, I'd guess you're getting paid what you expect and documenting your work here also, so monetarily and liability wise you're ok.

Interesting point. I do brand my work, and sign it when I remember to.

Working on the final piece in this set - the coffee table. It's a beast! 40" Round, 1 1/4" thick top. For the sharp eyed memebers, yes, I put the shelf in upside down when the pic was taken. oops.

Kinda. I had two major jobs postpone on me in the past few weeks. Enough work to have kept me busy through the end of the year. Down to about 3 months now so I'm looking!

Finished! This is the last in the four table set. The inlay was the big challenge on this one. Thanks to Leo for making the necessary templates! (I should probably have dusted it off before taking pictures. )
