OK. Had to do it. This piece of elm was sitting near the band saw screaming for me to do something with it. So, me did. The wood was already quite dry so not kiln time or anything needed. It was a quick turn, all done including the finishing in about 3 hours. The diameter is 6 3/4" with a height of 2 1/2". The depth is 2" with a volume of 3 cups. Used my usual walnut oil for sealing the wood and then buffed it. It shined up nicely from that so good going. The finishing was done with shellac.
