Making repetitive cuts without a table saw.

One of the challenges of the Shop remodel I am doing is building cabinets and breaking down sheet good without a table saw. To simpilfy this I opted to get a track saw but even that has it's limitations. One of the things I miss is the ability to make the same cut over and over and have all the like pieces the exact size. With a table saw once you set the fence then all the cuts will be the same but in using a track saw you have to do the setup each time and this can be problematic. Little errors can be compounded as we make all the cuts needed in breaking down sheet goods that will effect the final product.

little thing like the sharpness of the pencil,

some people will use a mechanical pencil and while this will lesson the error due to pencil sharpness there are still problems.

another is not always using the same tape measure

Last but not least the angle that you are viewing the measuring device when you marking it and setting up the track for the saw.

the parallax makes the one on the left to be slightly short while the one on the right looks to be dead on.
I looked at various solution such as a fence on the saw but these usually are limit to a fairly narrow and I wanted to be able to have accurate repeatable cut up to 32"
I also wanted something that was quick to change from sheet to sheet.

After reading reviews and doing research I settle on this one and bought it on Amazon.

It is robust and come with the ability to go all the way up to 55 inches so it will rip a piece of plywood in half.
It fit my rails (Milescraft) and according to the advertisement it will also work with Milwalkee, DeWalt, Makita and Festool.
It is easy to position the two measuring devices anywhere along the rail so you can rip and entire 96 inch sheet

And setting up the width is a snap with the end stop measuring device any where along the length of the rails
