The machine itself had to do all the physical labor, of course, but the main thing involved in the type of cut on this item is VCarve. Learning the ins and outs of the software was frustrating at times, to say the least, and I have a long way to go yet! For instance, I lost count of how many test cuts I did just to get the waves looking decent. My Shapeoko 2 certainly did its part without fail.
