My first set of barn doors are done.

This was a fun project, and I'm very happy with the results. This set is 48x82-1/2. I'm getting started on a 36x80 for an opening that I'm getting ready to frame.

Those are the best looking barn doors I've seen. Usually just the cross member and really not much character. Nice job.

I built the handles last night and installed them this morning. I love the way they came out.

I really like the handle idea. John. My sister and BIL just bought a house and are thinking of doing a barn door for the pantry in their soon-to-be remodeled kitchen, so I might be stealing this.

Go right ahead. It's quick, cheap, and easy. I used 3/8 black pipe instead of 1/2". It's a much better scale for a door this size, as opposed to 1/2".
