New addiction to the shop

This morning a parakeet was outside looking for food with all the small birds. So I Got her to come to me with rattling seed in a plastic cup. Now we'll see how she does with Jessie and Jenny

Cool. I have sparrows and cardinals in my shop all the time. Neat listening to them.

My wife keeps bird feeders and suet feeders and corn out for the birds and squirrels.... we have cowbirds, blue jays, cardinals, all kinds of little birds, doves and a murder of crows around all the time.

The farm has mud dobbers, lots of them and about the size of sparrows. I sent out eviction notices last trip down. I'm pretty certain we'll have squatters on the next trip down.

Had to quite feeding the birds. One found I was spending over $500 on bird seed. Two ,mice became a big problem. Miss the flocks of birds but I'll just feed the Hummers.

Cured the mice problem with a pool side storage chest from Lowes and caulking the joints with silicone after assembly.
