new batch of man and dog stuff

Big seller
I've had every dog owner I know ask for those
I've made them in various breeds
I bandsawed them all but now I've just finished scrolling around 20 sets of different figures

I don't give advice of what to sell but I will suggest you make them in various species of wood and give the buyer a choice as in mix and match any species dog with person or person with doggie

A few different breeds will really do well

What do you need to glue up?

I've run out of space so I've been piling them up on the buffet and even some oddball sets on top of the mirror
Elen gives me crap all the time to put it all in bins but in one ear out the other
Allen ... just have to comment. That buffet and mirror above are beautiful. I hope you built them both. Find another space to store your stuff so as not to hide the beauty.

the dog and the man.

for some reason, and i don't know why, while inside of a plastic box, all of them had broken arms. trying to glue them together was an option. so, with new lumber (peruvian walnut, and maple), created another batch. this time around i made them a little larger, so that the arms of the man are thicker. got them all cut, and primary sanding done, now all that is left is the finish sanding, and a quick dip in the blo pool.

Those came out looking nice, Dan. :thumb: I can see why the arms were breaking easily. That's a pretty thin cross section of wood with the grain running perpendicular to it.
