So, The Jtech 2.8w laser on my machine decided to die, and I really didn't like the way the laser was mounted anyway.
Instead of going back to the jtech, I decided to take a chance on an 6w ebay laser.
Now this one uses just a simple power supply and has a built in controller. Just hook up the power and the pwm. I had to do some rewiring on the ox, but basically just added different ends to some wire I already had in the cable chains.

Need to work at dialing in the speed and power settings, but it seems to be working pretty well so far.

It's pretty sturdy and seems to work ok, certainly at the speeds I'm moving at for now.
You can see some of my mounts have 'evolved'. I probably needs to get some more green filament and report some, lol.
