Considering a new router that would primarily be used to flaten slabs.
Seen good reviews on 3.25 hp Triton. Price is a little more than I wanted to spend.
Sugestion/recommendations.
 
The Milwaukee 5625 is also a decent unit (although I think the newer ones might be a tad different than from when I bought mine 6 or so years ago..). It's not any cheaper though!

I have the triton motor in my router table, it has a slower slow start than the Milwaukee, which might be good if you're swinging a really big flattening bit. It was a little disconcerting when I first used it but after a couple goes I got used to the wait three beats before it's fully wound up.

Depending on the slab sizes you could go down a size.. but it'll be slower.
