project x for the swap

now that i have had a bit of time to contemplate the nature of the swap item, i have decided on a plan a (plus a suitable plan b) for project x for the swap. the only thing that i will give away, is that one, or the other, or both are going to be made of walnut (since i had it handy, and pay no mind to the white oak, that is for something else). like as much as not, the photos will give absolutely nothing away, even though they show progress. project x is broken down into three phases, phase one, phase 2, and phase 3 (if necessary, plan b is broken down into 3 parts, part a, part b, and part c). in the photos you will see phase one, and phase two in various stages, and completion. since it was going on almost one in the morning, and it being so darned hot, i have called it a day, and will commence phase three tomorrow. if all goes well, i may start plan b, just for the fun of it. (insert evil laugh here).

good thing i have plan b in the wings, because plan a self destructed when the part came loose, and caused a lot of smoke. it was doing pretty good to start with, then i made the mistake of turning my back on the silly thing. oh well, on to plan b (there is a plan c too, just in case...)

spent the rest of the day working on plan b. changed the font to something more workable, and part 2 worked out better than i thought it would. now just waiting for the blo to finish drying.

Sorry, my eyes must be going or my screen! I thought you had put four pin holes in the bottom of the L on the L in large, but zooming in I see I was just confused.
