Raman Stir Fry on the griddle

Last night I cubed up some chicken tenderloins from the freezer and grilled them with oil, salt, & pepper.

Once they were about cooked I added in a frozen bag of stir fry veggies I had in the deep freeze too.

The local grocery store here doesn’t have much of an ethnic food section, so boiled a couple packs of Raman without the seasoning packs. There was some stir fry sauce on the shelf though.

The cooked Raman got put on the pile, then some sauce on it before stirring it all up.

There’s not much evidence left over, but good for todays lunch too.

The first time I ate Ramen noodles was on a backpacking trip. I thought it was the best food ever. Some time later, I made some at home and they didn't taste nearly as good as I remembered. It just proved that everything tastes better when you're camping, lol.

Looks good enough to eat! I make several Crock Pot soups using Ramen noodles. They don't freeze well as they fall apart during the freezing process so the soup is best eaten in a day or three.

When my boys were young and we'd go hunting I'd make "Bean Surprise". It was like a can of everything (Beans, corn, whatever...) stirred in a pot. They'd eat every bit of it. One day #1 wife asked why we didn't make it at home (seems she was tired of making supper). They told her it was only for camping....
