I felt like I was dragging Don's thread off topic so I started a new one.
There are a variety of rendering applications you can use to add some photo-realism to your models. I use a free one called Kerkythea for the rendering I do. It's a stand alone package. There are also a number of rendering "extensions" that open a window of the SketchUp window and do the rendering there. I've never been a fan of them but some people like them. You can check out Twilight Render, LightUp, Twilight, Vray, etc. Most aren't free and there's a wide range of prices for those that aren't.
I know you've seen some of my renders but it seems odd not to include one in this thread so...
