My dil wanted a shadow box frame of a pic of her grandparents
This is what I came up with
The grandmother has tonage of beads from a lifetime of jewelry all cheap beads but that's what's going to fill itnin
These beads are some of the kids beads I had laying around just threw some in for pic
All made from pcs of lumber laying around mostly miscuts and strips
Most of the beads going in will be silver gold and clear glass types

i spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon using a piece of garbage 2x4 to make my grandson a character, his avatar called cartoony white....a video game character looks like blocks....and painted all black with red eyes.
Id never waste time with stuff like that but its for my favorite little boy, grandpa cant let him down.
elen is busting them telling me I need to go get a haircut before we leave. really? i told her I have maybe 20 hairs on my head she said I only need 15 so go for haircut. what nerve

Know what you mean, my oldest will be hitting 12 years old this weekend. I've been 3d printing stuff for them all week, I think we are on flexi-dragon # 7 for the week and a dozen or so Pokémon card stands. They pick it out, start the job, and I've been trying to leave at least one piece on the printer when they come over, so I can let them take it off the printer and reset it for the next one.

I'll probably leave the printer here when we're at the farm and they can come make what they want, so I'm training them to start their projects and take it off the printer so they can use it when we're not here.

I tried to cut tiny letters out with the scrollsaw today
1/8 th thick hardwood could barely see the cuts and the blade was way too aggressive but got them
Then while getting my stuff together I sat fast to glue them on and totally messed up the spacing but he's 5 so I won't tell him besides he's just learning to spell
His avatar is called cartoony white which is a block style character with red eyes certainly not fine woodworking
