Simple quick project

Cut out some letters and saw this somewhere on Facebook or Etsy or some other site
I'll sand and spray a few coats of poly gloss and the name plates will be hung by chain
I need to get some gold colored chain
Maple and sapele
Nothing is glued into place
I need to center and sand it all then spray
Took me a total of 3 hours mostly cutting out letters

I'm not that thrilled I'm doing all these small projects but with my back I can at least keep busy otherwise I'd be stuck in house and that would mean me or elen might kill each other
She has her space I have mine
That's how to keep a happy marriage for almost 5 decades

i keep getting ready to start the fret work on a picture someone made me of my granddaughter....probably take me 4 months to do, but every time I turn the page in that intarsia book, I see another small project, figure good to practice....the sign I just saw on internet...
I see my grandkids at least 2 times a week. not always by choice but I never say no to my daughter if she needs us or me.
my granddaughter is 20 months and I finally got her trained that if she wants poppa to pick her up, she has to climb onto the sofa and climb onto my lap, as I continue to baby my back, and not bending to lift her up...but I think she actually understands, or at least in my mind she does. when she puts her hands out and calls my name for me to pick her up, I tell her, ok, climb up here and then onto my lap, and she doesnt hesitate anymore.
now the grandson, well, hes an animal in training. I cant keep up with him.
