Simplyfy 3D

Well I bit the bullet and just bought a license. It seems that Cura has a problem changing the Z offset which is needed to do 3 D printing so I spent the $150 to upgrade. I'll do a review after I use it it came with a 2 week money back guarantee so it it doesn't solve the problem I am not out anything.

I've been using Simplify3D for several years - very pleased with its capability and results.

Same here, but the recent version of cura has worked quite well, but still sticking with s3d myself.

what drove me to this was the fact that it is nearly impossible to do 2 color with a single extruder in Cura and looking on the web I ain't alone, Fine for most stuff but I am begining to like 3D

Yeah, I've been using cura more lately but haven't tried to do inclusions or multi color with it yet.

I tend to use the post processing macros in S3d for that to insert pauses at specific layer chagnes.
