Cool little 16th century painting. It's had one major repair, cleaning, and stabilizing job maybe 150-200 years ago.
I needed to remove the old repair material, which is damaged varnish and bees wax, which hardened from heat over the years. I cleaned the painting. I'm waiting for my filler to dry then repaint the repair then add a sheer coat of shalec.
The frame is also original which I may just touch up or gild. That depends on the customer. Alway complaining about how much thing are.
