Started my swapproject today

Well - I have procrastinated long enough.

Gave me time to see what others were doing - HeHeHeHeHe

Hints:

It's made out of wood - don't laugh - if you knew me - I use "materials" - not just wood.
Just ask the beamer.

Yes it will be CNC'd

Has "something to do with, an event taking place, tomorrow"

I am inspired by other variations that have been made already - so this will be my variation.

I will only make ONE - it will be unique.

I have TORN apart my shop to make ready for Osprey-1 (my new CNC router). As a result - my shop is a TOTAL disaster right now.

I will try to get a couple of progress pics.

I got the pieces cut up to rough size today.

Now THIS should REALLY tell you something about the project. At least you should know what the wood is.

I am surprised I was able to do anything at all in the shop. Yesterday and today I was in HIGH GEAR - moving, sorting, removing, rearranging the entire footprint of the shop.

That bench the wood is on will be going away. The right side of the new machine will be there. Eventually, the generator will have it's own shed outside behind the shop. The table where the glue up is on will also go away - that is where the machine will be located.

So - yeah - it's gonna be Oak.

Did a little bit today.

Faced off the glue up to get it flat.

Tomorrow I'll run it through the thickness planer to get it to the correct thickness.

BTW - the WB is the name of this thingy -- THAT my friends is a HUGE clue

Still has something - "something" to do with last Sunday night. You are ALL privey to THAT.

Can't reveal TOO much, but here it a tid bit.

It is fully involved and in process today.
