I showed a stave bowl earlier and posted it to ETSY... it sold and went to the UK.
Still had some of my 3x12 staves that I had earlier cut to use in pepper mills... glued up a few for this bowl.
It's still a work in progress... need to take the waste block off the bottom and sand and finish the bottom... this is only partially finished... a coat of my abrasive grit - my version of
Yorkshire Grit... the bowl is 11" diameter by 3" high... not sure of the depth, I don't usually measure that part except to make sure I don't make an expensive wide mouth funnel.
The woods are black limba, marblewood, spectraply caribbean wave, bloodwood, kosso, royal mexican ebony, and maple.
