Tell me I'm not crazy.

Leo wanted an update. It's messy because I'm bouncing from one project to the next in preparation for the CNC. I'll take some time and put everything away tonight. My workbench is done, but I have to build drawers for it. The CNC table is assembled. I'm getting ready to put the ply on the shelf next and I'll install the butcher block top after that. These Kreg tables are awesome!

She's ready to go!

I'm so excited. My electrician was here today and installed my subpanel and dedicated circuits for the machine. As I built the machine, I could power up with 110, jog, and home. I installed the spindle, VFD, and chiller. Now that everything is wired, I wanted to spin up the spindle for the first time, but I can't seem to get the VFD to power up. It's been a long day, I'm tired and don't feel like troubleshooting tonight. I'll dig into it in the morning. Once I know everything is working, I have to figure out where to start learning! It's a long road, but I'm up for it. I'm very familiar with G-code and such from a lot of experience with 3D printing, so that should help.

Onward and upward!

John, everything is looking great. There is always a HUGE mess when things are IN process. I have a HUGE mess in my shop as well right now. I said to my wife the other day after doing some demo that it is looking good. She said yes, because she knows the project is getting done.

I really want to see the machine and a lot more progress pics. I love this stuff.

Yep, the shop is a mess, but it's getting better. I'm still figuring out the configuration. Pics will follow soon.
