The $40 disc sander...

I really wanted a disc sander but didn't want a big one, or an expensive one.

I got this 5" Performax at Menards for $40! It comes with a clamp that allows you to clamp it to the table horizontally or vertically. It works great!

I'm making ten grooming/training tables and donating them to Canine Companions for Independence. Their North Central Ohio chapter is opening a new training center in August and needed some new gear. They have helped me out immensely by giving me Georgia. I figure that I owe them something.

I wish I could find one of those. It would be perfect for shaping scoops after trimming them on the band saw. I have a 12" disc sander but it is much too powerful for my old tired hands sometimes.
