The hidden forest pattern by Judy gale Roberts finished and hung

No tea but I did want a shot of jack but I didn't I chose a diet root beer instead
It's all finished just need to let glue cure and then I'll clean up some glue stains and bad spots and then use oil to pop colors
The inside border was added to hide the uneven sides
No one will ever know how uneven it was and I'm not telling anyone well except you people

There are I believe 14 species maybe 15
For all the cedars red cedar white cedar aromatic cedar and Spanish cedar

Did my best

This is a tough week as my daughter has to work but kids are off from school so we have them everyday from tomorrow till weekend and they will be here shortly because grandpa promised them ices and the ice place opened couple weeks ago

Not much work will get done this week
My dil gave me a small project to do and I have to rebuild my sons outdoor tiki bar
I'm too old and crippled for that stuff but this is my last large project

This piece weighs around 75 or so lbs and I got a 36 inch wall cleat that is rated for 250 lbs should be ok
Elen loves this piece and wants it hung so it will be hung
Have a look remember still full of sawdust and needs some cleaning before oiled

Btw that frame is almost 9 bf of sapele

Im lucky i have neighbors that like me. i wheeled the piece out to my front door so me and elen could lift it up and bring it inside where I will finish it with oil maybe some poly....a few days...but needed to be done inside in a controlled temp........elen got home and she didnt seem to be able to lift her end and even though I know I couild probably lift it myself, it might prove catastrophic if I pull out my back....so as elen was telling me she doesnt think so, the kid across the street who recently married and moved out yelled out hey, Im only here for 5 minutes but do you need help? as he was asking my next door neighbor, whom I rarely speak with, they are asian and really keep to themselves....he just go off from hospital where he works overnight shift and said, let me help you....so we got it in in a split second thanx to the help.
the only one I see from next door is the son, and now and then the daughter, who is sweet as sugar......good neighbors......Im guessing it pays to make all my neighbors little things for their gardens and house

I had the enlarged version of the photo of this piece up on my computer screen and my wife (who has not been reading your ongoing saga about how you were messing this up, were over your head, nothing fits, etc.) walked by and said "That's BEAUTFUL!" Take the win, buddy. :thumb:

I've been playing music in front of crowds for over 50 years. Thousands of songs, most of them multiple times. In all that time, I can only recall ONE time I played a song perfectly. I can always point out things I messed up in the performance of a song. But I don't do it to the crowd. I just try to learn from it, act like nothing happened, and then go on to the next song. ;)

I had to put a chair in front of it because my granddaughter likes to point to the animals and tell me what they are and what color they are
Repeatedly and then again and again
She wants to know why there is no bunny
A bunny runs around their yard now and then and she chases it
The chair was to save my back because at 3 she just weighs enough to hurt holding her in front like lifting weights when she says higher on

I get it but the main error was not paying attention to the drift the piece took on and it ended up messing up the final pieces for installation
I let distractions take me off center
