Let's see. I have approximately 60 bf of hard maple that needs to go from 4/4 to 5/8 and 20 bf of jotoba that needs to go from 5/4 to 3/4. That should keep me busy!!
Thanks Bill! I have the bearings on order, OEM replacements from eReplacements. How close are you?I was a mechanic at my old shop, so got some tools, and skills. If I can be of service.....let me know.
Also, Motion Industries in Elkhart should have bearings.
You're close! We should talk. If I can get the old race and the pulley off I can replace the bearings myself once they arrive.south of Edwardsburg..1 mile no. of state line
Not out of context at all.Not being very good at mechanics as I can not be of help with removing the pulley the only improvement I would do if it was possible would be to replace the old bearings with sealed ones. Maybe even this comment is totally out of context.

Lucy II. A 15" 220v 3HP monster that was gifted to me
I am so disappointed now that I simply have no words....Addendum to the story - there will be a new thread coming soon about Lucy II. A 15" 220v 3HP monster that was gifted to me. I'll be doing a little clean up and upgrading and maybe some new paint - no Vaughn, not purple.
