Finally, with a couple weeks to relax in SC I can resume this Elk painting.

ALL detail. Shelly and I found a little art supply shop in N. Charleston. I would make it my go to candy store if I lived here. Maybe 20x15 but packed shelves for printmaker, painters , wood engraver. Basically your students kind of shop.

I do like a relaxing vacation. I'm glad I didn't tow the bike down. Shelly ordered a nice small work lamp, which is awesome , now I need new glasses perception. Great day painting. I let Shelly sleep all day.

2nd thing I finished today besides gilding . I happy with this.
